Affordable home decor: Spring picks

I really do love home décor and general bits ‘n’ bobs for the home and workspace etc. So this week with my sincere apology for not posting anything, I also thought I would inspire and share with you some affordable home trinkets. With all the spring fashion trends gracing the high street in full force I thought I would share some homeware pieces that too incorporate spring ‘14 home décor trends. The items are all guaranteed to inject freshness, colour and general loveliness to your home space.

I love some of the home décor trends that retailers such as Tesco, Next & Matalan have been welcoming to their homeware collections for spring ’14. There is a clear trend for Nautical with colour palettes of cool, baby blues and turquoises all aimed to bring the breeze of the fresh seaside air into your home.  I love the wooden seashell plaque from Matalan, at £3.00 it’s a great affordable way to incorporate this seasons beach inspired trend to your bathroom area. I’m very impressed by supermarket retailer Tesco latest homeware collections, you can check them out online here. The retailer have incorporated the very popular Pastel trend with hues of sugary and sherbet pinks, mints and lemons. I love the grey diamond cushion with delicate pink edging.

I really am lusting over every item that I’ve shared with you, but if I really had to narrow it down I think my favorite picks from the bunch have to be the 3-pack animal printed candles from H&M. I love the bright colours and graphics. My second favorite item is the adorable patisserie esque cushion from Dunelm-Mill. Stamped with macaroons, éclairs and all kinds of delicious delights definitely one to make your mouth water.

What are your personal favorite items from my mini collection?

Thank you for reading. Speak soon,

Happy Friday enjoy the weekend!
